The Missionary Expediters Project Website provides our select clients on-line information on your projects.  This means, what you see, is what currently is.  You see the actual, current view of shipment projects, warts and all.

So, when a shipment starts up, the information will be broad and general.  As details are provided or developed, information on the website will be updated.

If you see something wrong, tell us!  Your involvement is important.

This is the best way we know to end up with the most up to date, refined, and considered shipping information, throughout the evolution of your projects, that is critical to successful execution of your projects.  We want all participants to work off the same page.

NAVIGATE TO PROJECT LISTS

Upon login, you will have access to your firmÕs project data.

To obtain your information, there are two tasks:  First, you must select the projects; then, you must sort them.   Here's how:

The website gives you three buttons to find your projects of interest.

The first two buttons permit you to select and sort projects by the most common way of viewing projects...  by Nation, and by Group. (These terms are described in the appendix on Classifications.)

The third button, the Search button, is the most powerful button.  It allows you to customize both the selection and the sorting of the projects.

SEARCH

Click on this button to select and sort projects based on your own criteria.

In the top window you click on each arrow to chose the selection criteria.  In the first three column arrows, you may chose: the field, the condition, and the value.  You may specify more than one criteria by clicking on the fourth column arrow.

Then, in bottom window, you click on the arrow to chose the field(s) by which the selection is to be sorted.

An example of a simple selection follows:

Field                            Condition          Value        And/Or

Nation                Is equal to                   Bolivia

And, the sort, is by Group, ascending.

Now, here is an example of multiple search criteria:

Field                            Condition          Value        And/Or

Nation                Is equal to                   Boliv@      and

Group                 is equal to                   FHI            and            only USG shipments

Your 1st no.       is equal to                   @027@                      inv 027

The sort is by ETA date.

Note:

¥ the use of a wildcard key,  Ò@Ó

¥ the value above, Ò@027@Ó, is equivalent of, Your1st no. contains Ò027Ó.

Appendix

PROJECT CLASSIFICATIONS

The basic classifications that the website employs are defined as follows:

Nation

Shipments most commonly are known by the nation of its destination.

Groups

Most clients will have just one type of shipment, like GIK.

Sometimes, however, clients have different types of projects.

For example, Food for the Hungry projects include GIK shipments and U.S. government food aid shipments.  So, certain group initials are defined: FFH for GIK, and FHI for food aid.  Then, for some food aid shipments, the onward carriage is considered as a separate shipment from the ocean shipment.  To avoid double counting the same cargo, the shipments with only onward carriage are considered a separate group, FHO.

So, Food for the Hungry groups are:

FFH           for GIK shipments

FHI            for food aid shipments, either ocean freight or ÒthroughÓ freight

FHO          for food aid, onward carriage freight only

Other clients will each have their own definition of groups.
